A traveler from a very young age, I grew up in Japan, Australia and Thailand, and have traveled to Burma, China, Costa Rica, England, Fiji, Honduras, Indonesia, India, New Zealand, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan and Vietnam. I'm now based full time in Washington DC.
I'm a freelance photographer and a MFA candidate, Film and Electronic Media at American University. I'm also a contributing writer for UpTake.com Beach Blog.
I like off-season travel, expat living, The New York Times Travel section, pop culture, religious iconography, the Flemish artists Jan van Eyk and Peter Bruegel the Elder, and English Bulldogs.
